Adopted Dogs
​Sherman is a senior boy, approx. 12 yrs old, and recently rescued from a north TX shelter.  He is sweet and good with other dogs. Sherman is a Furever Foster with a Setter-filled family in San Antonio, TX and will receive all the love and care that he deserves.
​Tyson (now Ty) is 65 pounds of affectionate, playful love!  Tyson's forever home is with a young family in Colorado Springs.  He'll have a stay-at-home dad and there is a park three houses away where he'll go for walks and trails very nearby where he will get to run. 
Ben is 13 years old. He lived first on a hunting ranch, and then the last 5 years outside in a backyard. He now is enjoying walks around the neighborhood in his Furever Foster home in Long Beach, CA, the luxury of napping inside and hours of snuggles and other joys we doubt he ever experienced before now.  
Chance Jr (now Niko)
Lucky ​Chance Jr has been adopted by his foster-to-adopt family in Denton, TX. This boy will enjoy hiking, stalking wildlife and playing ball with his new fur-brothers.

Millie was rescued along with Margo and Mason from a TX shelter. Her parents drove all the way from Milan, NM to Amarillo to pick her up! Initial reports are that she is enjoying and adjusting to her new home well. 
Poppy is a 5 1/2 month old Springer mix that was an urgent rescue from Moah, UT.  She will be joining her new mom and Setter brother Cooper in Colorado Springs, CO.
12 year old Spirit was rescued from a north TX shelter. She joins her new dad and Setter brother Buck in Santa Fe, NM and will go to work with her dad.
Cinnabar (now Skyler)
Cinnabar is a 2 year old typical happy go lucky, goofy, young male.  He will be joining his new mom and fur sister Kaylah in Portland, Oregon.  He will get to go to the dog park and for walks along the beach.
Thelma (now Minnow)
Thelma is a 10 month old sweet girl who was surrendered to a KS shelter.  Thelma joins her new parents (who drove all the way from West Virginia to get her) and SWESR brother Tadpole in Charles Town, West Virginia.
Lilly was approximately 10 years old and had overcome a number of medical issues since she had been in rescue. She enjoyed chasing birds and squirrels in the yard but her favorite thing was special one-on-one time with her foster parents. We know she was well loved by them.
England is a six-year-old neutered male bench/show bred English Setter. He found his forever home in San Diego, CA.
Tally (now Pippin)
Tally is a 3-year old girl who was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico where she had no hope for the future without SWESR. She has entered a whole new world! She joins her new mom (who is a vet) in Arveda, CO. Such a sweet and lucky girl!
Ruby is a beautiful and very affectionate 8 year young orange field type English Setter.  This lucky girl is heading to Henderson, NV where we know she will love living on a golf course.

Paige is a sweet 6-year old who has lived most of her life in a 6’ by 6’ pen. She has found her SWESR Furever Foster home in the beautiful Texas hill country with her foster parents, her Setter mix brother Shiner and German Shorthair Pointer sister Molly.

10 year old Ladybird is a very sweet older girl with lots of bursts of energy and then deep naps. She is extremely good with all dogs and cats. She adores people and is very "Velcro". She is in a Furever Foster home in New Braunfels, TX. She loves her new family, follows Mom and the teenage daughter around and gives kisses to her Boxer sister Ruby.

Ace is a 2 year old owner surrender. Isn't he handsome!  Ace will be joining his new mom and dad and cat Tilly in Salt Lake City, UT.  Ace will enjoy participating in their active life style of hiking and running as well as snuggling while watching movies.  

Petey, 6 years old, lived his entire life before rescue in a small dirt dog pen in central TX. He found his forever home with his Grand Junction, CO foster home. "He is acting very puppy-ish and loves to run! He is turning into quite the hunter and loves his back yard". 
​Abby is a beautiful and very sweet 7 year old female. Abby is happily an only dog and found her furever home with her foster-to-adopt home in Palm Springs CA. She enjoys hunting and pointing everything. She even found a road runner to point.
Missy CA
​We were alerted about an urgent English Setter at the Humane Society in Phoenix. Missy was found stray and was seen hit by a car. She has had surgery and she recovered well in her foster-to-adopt home in Menifee, CA. Her new mom is a vet and we know she'll receive all the love and care that she'll ever need.
Mason is sweet, a people-pleaser, easy going and an all-around great dog rescued from the panhandle of Texas. Mason has had surgery to remove a cancerous mass on his left hind leg as well as the one on his left front leg at the CSU Flint Animal Center. He is doing well at his foster-to-adopt home in Boulder as they await pathology results.

Chloe (now Piper)
Chloe came to a north TX shelter as a stray. She is a petite young girl, approximately 2 years old and weighs 30-35 pounds.  This beautiful girl will be joining her new parents and Setter sister Abbey in Woodland, CA.

Louise (now Cricket) 
Louise is a happy, pretty tri-color English Setter. She just turned 1 year old. She will be joining her new parents and "fur-sister" Daisy in the mountains of North Carolina where she will enjoy hiking, swimming and going to dog friendly restaurants.

Bert was an unclaimed stray in a TX shelter. He is 12 years old and super sweet. Bert is a petite and submissive boy (weighs just 37 lbs) and gets along well with other dogs. Everyone who meets him says he is just an AWESOME boy. He has found his SWESR Furever Foster home in Carrollton, TX with his wonderful foster parents.

Doc (now Benson) - 
Doc is a 2.5 year old chestnut tri color that was rescued in S. Central TX. This handsome boy is now living the good life with his new parents and SWESR sister Lucy in the Denver, CO area.

Tanner is a lovebug at 5 years young and is already enjoying his new family in Murietta, CA.  He has 2 English Springer brothers to play with, a large back yard, a swimming pool, and will get to go camping with his new parents.

Lando is a lab mix who is approx. 2-1/2 years old and weighs 45 pounds. He has lot of energy, but also likes to lie at your feet or find a sunny spot in the yard to take a nap. Lando has been adopted by his rescue/foster family.

Calypso (now Callie) 
Sweet, timid little Calypso was rescued in S. Central TX. She is 2.5 years young.  She will join a young couple and their English Setter Abbie in Houston, TX.

Daisy and Dexter 
Daisy and Dexter are a bonded pair of 7-year old bench-type English Setters who were given up to a shelter because their elderly owner could no longer care for them. They have been adopted by their foster mom and will join SWESR Wellington in Hillsborough, CA.
Jack is a handsome 10 year old tri boy rescued by a local rescuer at the Houston Humane Society when his owner was surrendering him.
This lucky boy will be joining his new mom and SWESR Ruby in Henderson, NV.
Cisco (now Grady)
Looks, personality, youth, balance, calm ~ what more could you ask for in a young English Setter boy! Cisco is a 1.5 year old tri boy that was rescued in the TX Panhandle. Cisco will enjoy watching the ducks and geese fly over his backyard near Denver, CO with his new "fur-brother" Gus. 
LucyLu (now Chipilona)
LucyLu came to SWESR because her former owner has a medical condition which has made him unable to care for her.  She will be heading to Tucson, AZ where she will enjoy walking and hiking with her new mom.  She will get to spend her summers in Colorado.  Isn't she just the cutest? 
Pax (now Finnagan)
Pax is a sweet 4 month old pup that was purchased by a hunter in Western OK. When he figured out this little guy is deaf he surrendered him to us.  Pax is enjoying life in San Antonio, TX with his new family and playing with SWESR Valley, setter Abby and Tea the cat.
This sweet 5 year old boy was rescued from a Utah shelter.  He will be joining his new dad and enjoying the good life in Missoula, MT.
Ringo will get to watch birds in the yard, go on hikes and car rides, and play in the snow.

Olive is a young female and was a stray at a rural OK shelter.  This lucky girl is being adopted by her foster family and will join SWESR Kemosabe and setter brother Norman in Georgetown, TX.
Sophie was rescued from a neglectful situation in OK and her amazing foster Mom vetted her and nursed her to health physically and emotionally. This sweet girl joins her wonderful parents in Boerne, TX. where she will have a great yard to explore and be spoiled.
Elvis was rescued from the Tulsa, OK shelter after no owner was found. He is a spunky 2-3 year old tri-color male. He gets along great with people and other dogs.  This handsome boy found his forever home in Lincoln, NE.  Elvis will enjoy going for walks and to the dog park with his new parents.
Lizzy is a six year old, happy, active English Setter girl. She is being adopted by her foster family in Weatherford, TX. She and her "fur- brother" SWESR Cooper love to run and play in their big backyard.
Coco Puff 
CocoPuff is an adorable 2 1/2 year old girl who was surrendered by her owner because she is gun shy. She will join SWESR Dani in her  home in Corrales, NM
Maisie is estimated to be 2 years old. She is a typical busy English Setter and is being adopted by her foster family and SWESR Clyde in Colleyville, TX.
Blue was a stray in the Central Texas area. He is a strikingly handsome chestnut boy with one blue eye and one amber eye and a very sweet personality. He has been adopted by a family in Santa Monica, CA and will have two Setter sisters.
Mary (now Carrie)
This 5 year young, petite girl is one of the sweetest and happiest Setters you will find. Mary is being adopted by her foster mom in New Braunfels, TX. Her foster mom is retired and Mary is enjoying daily walks, chasing birds in the yard and lots of snuggling.
Jackson is a happy, child and dog friendly 4 year old smaller English Setter boy. Jackson has been adopted by a wonderful couple in Hartsel, CO and will have a dad that works from home.  He will enjoy running in the 1 acre fenced yard and watching the wildlife.
Dodger is a sweet, friendly, 2-3 year old youngster that may be a Brittany/English Setter blend. He is calm, friendly and loving. Dodger has been adopted by a retired couple in Overgaard, AZ where he will enjoy going on hikes and watching deer and elk.
PJ is 7 years old. She was surrendered by her owner because they were moving. She is a sweetheart, likes to play fetch, ride in the car and snuggle. PJ is being adopted by her foster mom near Tulsa, OK.
Handsome Beau had a rough start in life and was treated harshly by previous owners.  This now lucky boy has been adopted by a couple in Chandler, AZ and will enjoy his new life hiking and running with his new parents.
Meet puppy Ned! He's been through a lot in his short 9 months. This sweet boy joins his new parents and Aussie Cattle dog Oakley in Denver where he will enjoy adventures like hiking, running errands, lots of walks around the neighborhood and park, and puppy play dates.

Sadie was a stray in Newcastle, OK and was not reclaimed. She is estimated at 8 years old and is a calm, sweet girl. This lucky girl has been adopted by her foster home in Colorado Springs, CO.  She loves the kids who adore her, has learned to ignore the cat, and shares a dog bed with the resident dog.
 Mason came from the Strasburg, CO seizure via the Boulder County Humane Society. He is possibly around 12-13 years old. Mason had to have his right eye removed because of an untreated infection. He also has other health issues. He has found his SWESR Furever Foster home in Boise, Idaho.

Meet Logan, a 2 year old tri-color male that was surrendered to the Tulsa, OK shelter because his owner was moving. He joins SWESR Roxy in Asheville, NC.  Logan will enjoy the very dog friendly town and will get to go to the dog bakery, restaurants and breweries with his new family.
Stella is an adorable and petite, chestnut color English Setter that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She is 3 years old, great with other dogs and loves to play with toys!  Stella will join her new parents and ES Piper in Burnsville, MN and enjoy playing in the yard and going to the nearby 28 acre dog park.

Lucky Angel has been adopted by her foster mom near San Antonio, TX. She loves being part of a big family, playing with her toys and going for walks to meet new dogs in the neighborhood. 

Jazzy and Scout 
Jazzy (13) and Scout (12) are a bonded pair of Setters whose original owner passed away.  They have been adopted by their wonderful foster family and join SWESR Zoe in Evans, CO.
Ginger is an 11 year young, sweet, shy, Velcro, 37 lb petite field English Setter that was rescued by SWESR after many years of neglect and backyard breeding. Both of her mammary chains have been removed because of tumors. She is now home forever in her SWESR Furever Foster home in Tulsa, OK.

Indy (now Colin)
Indy was a stray in a Dallas Fort Worth area shelter. He’s estimated at 1 year old and he’s high energy and sweet just as you’d expect an ES youngster to be. Indy has been adopted by a family in Ft. Collins, CO. In addition to 2 young boys, Indy will have a playmate with ES Lizzie and Scotty the cat who loves dogs.

Gulliver (now Stitch) 
Two year old Gulliver was rescued by a Good Samaritan in N TX. They searched for his family and when no one was found they got him vetted and contacted SWESR for assistance.  Gully is being adopted by his foster family in Ft. Worth, TX and will have two 15 year old rescue sisters, The Pointer Sisters.

Travis is a bench bred, AKC registered boy from a pedigree of champions. He is 5 years young, very smart and plays like a happy puppy.​  Travis has been adopted by his foster family in Columbia City, IN. His new dad says "He has definitely became part of our family. He is a very birdy setter! When he is setting birds NOTHING else matters. He is a very good and funny guy! Thank you for introducing us."

Hobbes, estimated about 2 years old, is a handsome orange boy.  This lucky boy is being adopted by his retired foster dad and joins SWESR Rocket in Denver, CO. His new dad says "Rocket and I think this Hobbes guy is the greatest and can’t imagine going forward without him being a member of our family." 

Skylar (now Shaq) 
Skylar is a sweet approximately 4-5 year old boy that was rescued from a kill shelter in Southern California.  He joins his retired dad and SWESR Ringo in Missoula, MT.

Willie Nelson
Willie Nelson is a sweet 11 year young retired hunting dog. This sweet boy is loving the inside family life he always deserved. He loves people and other dogs. Willie Nelson loves his walks and watching birds. He has found his Furever Foster home with his foster family in Phoenix, AZ.
Noah (now Benny)
Noah was rescued from a shelter in Carlsbad, NM and is estimated to be 3-4 years young and super setter sweet. Noah will be heading to Erie, CO and will share his new mom with the resident dog and cat. Noah will especially enjoy the 400 acre dog park.

Calvin, estimated about 2 years old, is a handsome orange boy. He will enjoy watching birds, butterflies and chameleons in his large yard in San Leon, TX with ES Patch.

Pongo was rescued from the Pampa, TX shelter. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 55 pounds.   Pongo loves kids, adults, and other dogs. This sweet boy will enjoy his new life in Ventura, CA and get to travel to his lake house and mountain cabin.

​Addie was found as a stray likely left behind by some hunters because she is gun shy. This beautiful, timid girl joins SWESR Hannah in Parker, CO. 
​Nora was rescued from the shelter in El Reno, OK. She was a stray and not reclaimed. She is young, about 1 year old, good with other dogs, and very sweet. She joins her parents in Tuttle, OK and has a dog and cat to help her enjoy her new life.
Paris (now Millie) 
 Paris was rescued from a shelter in TX. She is estimated at 4 years old and is super sweet.  This lucky girl joins her new mom and "fur-brother" Malin in Bryan, TX.
