Adopted Dogs
Samson is a 1-2 year old male. He has joined SWESR Joey/Bingo and his family at their ranch in Carlsbad, NM. He now enjoys playing on 8 fenced acres!

Comet is a handsome 5 year old boy. He was surrendered by his family when they moved to military housing. He has found his forever home with a retired couple and their 9-year old ES named Mae in June Lake, CA. 
Nellie is a young tri-color female who was surrendered by her owner because she is deaf. She joins a Brittany Spaniel and a work from home mom in Weston, FL.  and will be a jogging companion to her forever family,
Bandy is approx. 4 to 5 years young and was surrendered to SWESR. She has found her forever home with a retired couple in League City, TX  and looks to be settling in nicely!
Kasey is a stunning 13 month old Bench boy that is basically still a puppy. He joins Grace, a 2 year old Golden Retriever and her family in NM with acres of land to run and play. 
Bandita (now Kramer)
Bandita was not wanted by her 'breeder' because she was the runt of the litter. She has been adopted by her foster home in Round Rock TX and has 3 Gordon Setter sisters. Thanks to her cat tree climbing abilities, she is going to have the opportunity to learn agility.
3 yr old Rhea was adopted by her foster home in Kyle TX. She has a work-at-home mom. After a life in a run on a remote S TX hunting ranch, she now happily snuggles with her first family ever.

Mikey (now Barley)
Mikey is a friendly and confident 8 year old tri-color boy, his prior life included years on a TX hunting ranch. He will get lots of love and attention from his new parents in Santa Fe NM who both work from home.  

Junebug is 10 years young and is retired from field competition trials. Lucky girl is being adopted by her foster family in Springtown TX and will enjoy the company of another Setter at home.
Honey is a sweet, petite girl approx. 8 yrs. old.  She was rescued from an OK shelter.  She will have a Setter-experienced “at home” Mom in Greenwood Village, CO all to herself and we know she will love that. 

Cherish is a 9 year old girl surrendered by her owner. She had a lot of hair loss from a prior flea infestation. She is being adopted by her amazing foster family in San Antonio.
9 year old ​Tip was surrendered to SWESR after his owner passed away.  Lucky boy found his forever family in Woodland, CA and will enjoy stay-at-home parents and lots of room to roam in his shady yard.
3 year old Reina grew up on a hunting ranch. She will be an only dog in her San Antonio forever home and enjoy all her parent's attention.  Lucky girl will get to go to work with her dad and socialize with other dogs there.
Emmett ( 2-3 years old) was rescued from an OK shelter. He will enjoy his doggy door and fenced yard and a dad all to himself in his forever home in San Antonio, TX.
Finn is a 1 year old tri-color boy that was surrendered to SWESR because he is gun-shy. He found his forever home nearby in Province, OK on 20 wooded acres with lots of birds, squirrels and bunny rabbits to chase in his new yard.
Beautiful Brook has endured multiple medical challenges and surgeries. She found her forever home with her loving Furever Foster family in Park City, UT. She was much loved, and we are certain she loved all the time she had with the family.

Zeke is a handsome 1-2 years old Setter/Border Collie mix. He was rescued from a shelter in OK.   He joins a young active family in Loveland, CO. He will get to experience  lots of outdoor activities along with their lab-mix named Maggie.
​Farley is a 65 pound, calm, quiet, house-trained easy dog. He found his forever home with his awesome foster family in Cotopaxi, CO.  Farley will enjoy lots of Setter company at home with SWESR Libet, Fionn and Sage.
​Molly is a typical busy 5-7 year old girl that loves “working” a yard, exploring the house or snuggling on the couch. Her new mom is a part-time vet in Tempe, AZ. We know she’ll love her yard with citrus trees, bushes, grass and rocks and the company of of another Setter. 
Chief is a beautiful, happy, high-energy 4-5 year old love bug that adores his people. He joins SWESR Cate in Littleton, CO with a couple who live next door to the South Platte River park. He’ll enjoy daily long walks and runs along the river trail. 

Sweet Star endured multiple medical challenges. She found her forever home with her loving Furever Foster family. She adored the other Setters in her Ft. Worth area foster home, including young SWESR Copper.  She was much loved, and we are certain she loved all the time she had with the family.
​Checkers (now Rudy) is a senior boy who was rescued from a CA shelter with several medical issues.  He has found his forever home with a couple in Newark, CA. Their home is 2 miles from San Fransisco bay where there are 2 large parks with trails along the bay. He is gaining his confidence back and loving his new life. 
​14 year old Jewel lived the majority of her life at a training and breeding facility in OK prior to coming to rescue. She is now with her Furever Foster home in Baton Rouge, LA with a family who rescue and train all breeds of dogs.
Cate (now Pippa)
8 year old Cate (now Pippa)  was rescued from a UT shelter with several medical issues, including mammary tumors.  She will be cared for the rest of her life as a Furver Foster with a couple in Littleton, CO who live near the South Platte River park. She’ll enjoy daily long walks along the river trail.
Pippa, 10 years old, arrived in rescue after years of neglect, left in a concrete dog run for more than 5 years. Due to a recent seizure, Pippa will be staying on as a Furever Foster with her foster mom near San Antonio, TX who says she's never met a dog so clearly grateful for her new life.
Jerry (now Charlie) is approx. 7 years old. Hard to be believe he was an unclaimed stray in a TX shelter. He found his forever home with his foster mom in Yukon, OK.  We know he will enjoy his large fenced yard and the company of her two young grandsons. 
Katie is approx. 1 year old and weighs 35 pounds. Katie is a timid girl and we are so pleased she has found her forever home with another English Setter named Cookie, an active family, stay-at-home mom and acreage to enjoy in Flower Mound, TX. 
5 year old Hannah was rescued from a shelter in OK. She found her forever home with her foster-to-adopt family in Parker, CO. She joins a Cocker, English Setter, Irish Setter and horses and will enjoy hiking, fenced acreage and a stay-at-home mom.  Lucky girl!!
Victory (Laveau) 
Victory was a stray in the Galveston TX area. She is approx. 4-5 years old. She found her furever home with her loving foster mom in Gainesville, TX.  She joins another Setter named Godiva, and we know she'll enjoy a dog door and a secure yard.
6 year old Maya found her forever home with a retired couple in Espanola, NM.  She now enjoys an orchard and koi ponds in the fenced area around her house. Pastures are also fenced and adjacent to the house.  
Colt is a typical, goofy, happy-go-lucky boy who is basically still a puppy.  Colt joins a family with an English Setter sister named Sage, and will get to travel  between their home in San Antonio and their mountain home in Colorado. Lucky boy! 
Susie Q / Tallulah
She was rescued from the OKC shelter in June 2014 and named Susie Q. Her initial age estimate was 12, later revised to 14-15 years. A family in north TX  offered to Furever Foster her for SWESR. They named her Tallulah and instantly welcomed and loved her as one of the family. 
Roxy is a delightful little pocket Setter. She traveled all the way from TX to her forever home in Asheville, NC. She joins SWESR Barley and now lives in a very dog friendly town and will get to go to the dog bakery, restaurants and breweries with her new family.
​Toby (now Harley) is a handsome tri-color boy, approx. 2 yrs old. He found his forever home with his foster family in Frisco, TX. Mom reports that Harley made himself at home and is a great fit with their other Setter and family.
Scooter (4-6 years old) was rescued in southern CA and transported to his northern CA foster home.  Didn't take long at all for his foster mom and her resident Gordon Setter  to decide Scooter was home forever.  Lucky boy!

Dylan is a happy and handsome 10-month old English Setter. He was rescued after being dumped in a kill shelter because he wasn't interested in hunting.  Dylan has found his forever home with his foster family in Edmond, OK.
Lady D
Lady Daphney is a purebred Large Munsterlander. She is 6-7 years old. She has joined SWESR’s Furever Foster program because of her severe separation anxiety. She is happy and adjusted well to her foster family where she is now home for good.  Lucky girl!

Zoe is a 9 year old tri-color bench type Setter.  Lucky girl found her furever home with her foster-to-adopt family and their English Setter named Max in Evans, CO. 

2 year old Whitney was an urgent case from a TX  shelter due to her poor condition. She recovered in foster care and is now going to be an only, pampered dog with a retired couple in Denver, CO.  Lucky girl will enjoy a doggy door at home and join her parents when they visit the horse ranch and their mountain cabin. 

Maggie is an active, sweet, friendly, 4 year old female. Rescued from an OK shelter, she is heading west to her forever home in Lynnwood WA (near Seattle).  We know she will enjoy hiking with her new dad and daily walks to the park to meet the local dogs.

​6-year old Lyric (now Daisy) weighs 34 pounds of sweetness. She found her forever home with a work from home dad in Tempe, AZ and will join Birdy, a 6 year old male bench-type Setter. We know she'll love their doggy door and frequent hikes at nearby Papago Park.
Prior to his rescue, Styx lived his entire life at a Vet clinic as a blood donor. He has PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), a disease that resulted in his blindness.  His foster family in New Braunfels, TX adores him and has welcomed Styx as a Furever Foster so that he will not have to make an adjustment to another home. 
3 year old Omer is a rescued stray from a shelter in the TX Panhandle.  Omer found his forever home  with his new mom in Colorado Springs and will enjoy the company of Ranger, another rescued English Setter.
Chico is a 4 year old male English Setter. Lucky Chico will enjoy both a country and city home with his mom and a female English Setter companion near Houston,TX.
Trixie is a 6-9 yr old owner surrender. She was in foster care in CA and found her furever home with her foster parents in Coto de Caza CA. She has multiple daily walks with each of her parents and is getting stronger every day.

Titan has found his furever home in Tuttle, OK. His new parents say "he has perfect indoor manners and gets along with our Boston Terrier. Titan has proven himself to be a natural "hunter" but so far he's been satisfied to stalk dragonflies in the backyard as well as butterflies."
Rose (now Gracie)
Rose, is a 3 year old sweet and high energy setter.  She was rescued from an OK shelter, and will be joining SWESR Rosie in Wichita, KS. We know she'll love spending time with the other dogs and her retired dad in their large shaded yard.
Margo (now Gracie)
​Gracie is a 4-6 year old beauty rescued from a TX shelter. She found her home in Clancy, MT. Her new parents live in a subdivision that is a great place for a dog to sniff and explore. It has a small creek running through it.  They live by several walking trails and are surrounded by public land.
