“I’m lookin’ over a four-leaf clover” Wait! Stop! No more “lookin’ over.” Clover is perfect! She is as sweet as her name and ready for her forever home. Her foster mom describes her as a sensitive, friendly girl who meets new people well. She loves to cuddle up on a favorite chair, but who doesn’t? Wouldn’t you want to cuddle up with a lovely pup like Clover and enjoy her companionship through a cold winter evening?

Clover lives with several other dogs, and prefers those who are gentle and calm. If a new dog walks by her crate, she will growl quietly to let them know to stay a respectful distance. Her foster Mom is very skilled and cautious in slowly introducing new dogs and this would need to be the case with her new parents if there is another dog in the home. Her foster home includes a cat which Clover is somewhat interested in, but always the polite girl, Clover leaves her alone.

Clover is good at walking on leash, easy to train, and treat motivated.

Although 5 year-old Clover is a calm, gentle girl, she needs a yard with a six-foot fence and a home where gates are kept securely locked. Since being in her foster home, she hasn’t been an escape risk, but she was a shelter stray, so we want her to have a secure forever home.

When Clover came into SWESR she was heartworm positive, but she has been fully treated and is now clear. She has been spayed and completely vetted. She is in a foster home in Edmond, OK.
