Southwest English Setter Rescue
Trent is a 10-month old ball of activity and snuggles. His fosters call him “the sweetest” and “the cutest.” Like any young English Setter, Trent loves romping with his resident dog pals. But unlike most ES, Trent loves to play ball—he even fetches!
Trent is a high-energy youngster who needs a home with another active dog to play with and a six-foot, secure, no-climb fence. Trent is not safe with cats.
Trent is learning to walk on leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and is learning house manners. At 10-months, Trent is still very much a puppy and will need gentle guidance to be the best boy he can be. Because he is food motivated, Trent is learning commands quickly. So far he knows “sit,” “off,” and “wait,” and is eager to learn more. An adopter willing to spend training time with Trent will have a very willing student.
Trent’s foster writes that he “He LOVES to be with people and wants to be in your lap or touching you at all times.” That qualifies him as a “Velcro” Setter! Because of his love of people, Trent needs a home with furniture privileges and people who are happy to have a snuggler climb into their laps. In addition, his foster says he also “LOVES ice cubes.”
Trent is fully vetted and ready for a forever home. He is fostered near Fayetteville, AR.
